Two Lectureships in Politics at the University of York (open to political theorists & political philosophers)

The University of York wishes to make two open-contract appointments to lectureships in the Department of Politics. You will undertake research of the highest international standards within your own specialist field, which will contribute to the research standing and culture of the Department. In addition, you will contribute to Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching, and research supervision. The posts are open as to field, and appointments may be made within any of the Department’s research clusters, which include Conflict and Development, International and Comparative Politics, Political Philosophy, and Public Policy. These posts are available from 1 October 2011.
