Final Reminder: Political Thought Conference at Oxford

We are pleased to invite you to the Annual Conference of the Britain and Ireland Association for Political Thought. This will take place at St. Catherine’s College, University of Oxford on 5th-7th January 2017 (Thursday-Saturday).

This year’s conference covers a wide range of themes like the ethics of war, juries and democratic theory, and the politics of ecological emancipation. Speakers at the conference include:

Sharon Krause (Brown); Alex Leveringhaus (Oxford); Melissa Schwartzberg (NYU); Jakob Huber (LSE); Dana Mills (NYU/Bard College); Jacob T. Levy (McGill); Teresa M. Bejan (Oxford); Andreas Kalyvas (The New School)

This year’s conference also features a Roundtable Discussion on Dance and Politics, a book by Dana Mills. We have also organised a panel discussion on ‘Publishing at the Interstices of Disciplines’.
