Arendt Studies is a new journal devoted to the study of the life, work and legacy of Hannah Arendt. It publishes peer-reviewed research articles, review essays and books reviews from all relevant areas. Information regarding submission procedure is available here:

CFP for the first volume of a new journal: Arendt Studies

Arendt Studies is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the study of the life, work and legacy of Hannah Arendt. It publishes original research articles, review essays and books reviews, and welcomes contributions from all relevant areas, including philosophy, politics and international relations, history, Jewish studies, women’s and gender studies, postcolonial theory, and literary theory. The Journal is particularly interested in the philosophical dimensions of Arendt’s work and how they might illuminate pressing issues in philosophy, politics and society today.

CFP: Hannah Arendt Circle, Texas A&M University, April 23–25, 2015

The Department of Philosophy and Humanities at Texas A&M University will be hosting the ninth independent conference of the Hannah Arendt Circle, April 23–25, 2015.

As in past years, we invite individual submissions for papers on any aspect of Arendt’s work, including critiques and applications of her thinking.

Please send an abstract of the paper (750 word limit) as an email (“.doc” or “.docx”) attachment. Abstracts should be formatted for anonymous review and submitted to the program committee chair, Kei Hiruta (kei.hiruta@philosophy.ox.ac.uk) on or before January 10th, 2015. Please indicate “Arendt Circle submission” in the subject heading of your email message. read more...
