Workshop organized by the Centre for the Study of Equality of Multiculturalism (CESEM) in collaboration with the Institut Français and the French Embassy in Denmark.

This workshop will be devoted to examining republicanism, especially the French republican model, its successes and failures as regards the management of diversity. It will be an opportunity for critically engaging the fecundity of this model as an alternative to the liberal model as well as its limitations. The focus will be on the model itself, its constitutive principles, its practical features as well as the nature of the discussions that it generates in Denmark and France. read more...
